Pecherskiy district is an administrative and spiritual center of modern Ukraine. In the days of Kievan Rus out-of-town princely estates were disposed here. Now Pechersk is the prestige district of Kiev, where buildings of government authorities, elite offices and dwelling-houses are located. Many monuments of architecture in Pecherske were saved untill nowadays. Among them there are Kievo-Pecherskaya Uspenskaya Large Monastery, Mikhaylovskiy Monastery, Church of Resurrection Khristova, Kievan Fortress, Mariinskiy Palace. Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers, Secretariat of Ukrainian President, National bank of Ukraine, Central Botanical Garden are located.
And bridges of Kiev are also the bright sight of ukrainian Capital. It is possible to spend time pleasantly there, looking after Dnepr in the evening, which is luminous with the fires of the city, and also green hills of banks and gold of domes.
